The Bloomington and Delavan meetings have a very special lineup of speakers including:

  • Kent Beadle, Director of Risk Consulting Services with CHS Hedging
  • Mike Toohill, Diversified Crop Insurance Services

Kent Beadle will discuss commodity markets and trends, along with factors impacting your bottom line in 2019. With the current federal push to expand E15 ethanol sales, Kent’s role at CHS will provide a unique insight into corn demand in 2019 and beyond. CHS originates grain, refines ethanol and oil products, and provides retail fuel via the Cenex brand across the United States.

Mike Toohill will share his agronomy expertise on what impacted the 2018 crop and what to expect in the 2019 growing season. Mike travels the state of Illinois throughout the year and shares observations on disease, pest, and soil conditions impacting not only Central Illinois but the entire Illinois corn and soybean crop.

The Minier meeting lineup will also feature Mike Toohill, as well as :

  • Jeremy Strubhar, Branch Broker with Advance Trading, Inc., (Bloomington)

Jeremy Strubhar has been with Advance Trading since December 1999 as a Broker with clients all over the state of Illinois. Prior to joining Advance Trading, Jeremy spent six months at Monticello Grain in Monticello, Illinois. He lives in Bloomington with his wife and daughters. His brother, Curt, also works at ATI. Jeremy loves boating, traveling, raising his daughters and cheering on the Fighting Illini and St. Louis Cardinals.
